I always feel that we are fortunate in our area of the Costa Blanca, because we have 4 local, weekly, free, English newspapers available to us.
In addition to local news and events, The British Consulate has recognised the importance of these papers, as a means of communicating with the local British community, with details about Brexit, Residency in Spain, news about any health care changes......such as the EHIC Card...and news about the all important, payment of UK State Pensions.

Not all, long term British residents are familiar with, or have access to, the Internet. This means that traditional, printed, newspapers have an important place in the Community’s information system.
