Because the floor is the best

He's in another 'sleep on the floor' phase.  The sleeping bag is brought out to sleep on, all the cuddly toys are under the duvet and he curls up happy as Larry. 

It's the last night that Gogo is here. We'll miss her very much.  The boys have loved it and she has done sterling work with homework and picking up the eldest from school.  

Husband is out this evening, so I've taken advantage, clean sheets and and early night.  These days, that's a pretty good treat.   My evening has been made as we've been invited to spend new year with some lovely friends - who have horses and I'm under instruction to take my riding kit.
