DOUBLE TROUBLE

Had my camera at the ready this morning and was waiting to take a shot of some magpies which were coming into the garden to feed. However they were too quick for me - magpies never seem to feed on the ground for long - they just grab something and fly off quickly.

Tino was also watching the birds and I noticed his reflection in the window. So here is Tino..... two for the price of one.

Soon after I took this shot I was off on the bus to The Metrocentre. Managed to find a few last minute bargains in the sales. Mostly stuff to put away for next Christmas.

Didn't get home till 7.30pm. Just had a quiet evening watching TV.

Neil got in from work at about 10pm. He has an early start tomorrow as he is off to Norwich to watch the match v Newcastle. He is going by train - via Peterboprough.

He is going with a friend who at the tender age of 18 has been to 34 away matches but he has never seen Newcastle win. He has seen a few draws but never a win. Neil used to go to a lot of away matches and has followed Newcastle United to Spain, Holland and France over the years as well as many trips to away matches in the UK. Glad he is getting the chance to go tomorrow. Maybe they will see Newcastle get 3 points. I'm not too hopeful though.
