Small but effective...

Not that long ago, maybe 5 years ago, I was in my friend's studio with one of those sound desks with millions of knobs and buttons that looks like you could control a space mission. We were trying to edit some recordings and mix them together. I had no idea how he was doing it.

Today, I think I was doing more complicated stuff with my little H2 Zoom recorder, Audacity software and my MacBook. Mixing a podcast down and clicking a button 'Export to mp3'.

Then I dragged the file into Podcast Maker and clicked 'publish'.

Two minutes later we're live on the web.

I love how the complicated stuff has been simplified.

Can't imagine Blip existing in the days of dial up, before broadband.
