Heron in a tree

Decided I was going to find something to photograph today before I found out it was raining, so set out regardless camera in hand. Walked for a couple of miles took 50 shots, carried out a couple of chores and stopped for a coffee, visited the local museum for a browse when the rain was very heavy. The Heron was an unexpected find just 200 yards from my front door and a few minutes into my meandering, it was sitting in tree beside the local burn( Scottish for stream).
