Gamblesmire Lane

I carelessly forgot to go to aqua aerobics this morning after the excesses of Kendal hillside last night. Went up to Cunswick Scar this afternoon to investigate some new paths instead. A dull and blowy day. This is the view while walking along a rough track that's labeled as Gamblesmire Lane on the footpath signs and I am guessing it must  a very old right of way. I will find an old map to see if it was an actual lane in the old days . 
Disappointed (for me) to report that Mr P can now keep up with me on hills.
