A Tangled Web?

The morning's planned golf round was frustrated by last night's heavy rain: despite the bright blue skies when we arrived, the course was too soggy to play on.

It gave me the chance to join Tess for a wander round the Thursday street market and Clark's Village; they've already put up the "C" decorations in the village (they have them up in time for people coming to the Glastonbury Carnival on Saturday week). At least they provided, with a bit of faffing, a subject for Abstract Thursday.

Back into the term-time routine of picking Sophie up from school this afternoon. Don't think she stopped chatting from the time we collected her until she went to bed! Kate went to her first Parents' Evening this evening (at least, being on the receiving end of things) and was delighted with positive feedback about how well Sophie has settled in.
