UIMLA AGA

Finally here.
Representing the UK at the Annual General Assembly of the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations.
Today 15 out of 23 countries had a very productive meeting about how our Union should be, and the reforms we'd like to see. Sadly tomorrow three other countries will use their block vote to thwart much of this proposed work simply, it would seems, because they can. I can do politics fairly well, but I'd rather do mountains, laughter and respect.

Tonight our hosts took us on a spooky walk round ancient Brasov. This tunnel into the dark seemed quite apt.
