What’s for lunch?

The white backed magpie was introduced to NZ as a pest control matter. 150 years later they are regarded as an invasive species. They attack cyclists.

Extra: We passed this site in January with our daughter who proclaimed “they haven’t fixed this yet”! Which seems a reasonable conclusion. However, in the interim a colony of black billed gulls have moved into nest. They are described as the most endangered gulls in the world. Their presence is followed with much interest.
