A tad damp!

We actually managed a couple of hours of sunshine this morning ..... what a treat ........ a welcome relief after another night of heavy rain!

Took the opportunity to nip into the garden & get this ...... one of a few remaining Welsh Poppy flowers ....... well bejewelled by the recent rain ..... but still looking beautiful ..... hope you like it :-)

Unfortunately the sunshine didn't last! It is raining again .... with more heavy rain to come!

In fact it is so dark & dismal I have just shut the curtains & put the lights on ..... it's only just after 4pm!

On the local news last evening they said the Lincolnshire had double the normal rainfall in September ....... two & a half times in October & we have already had the equivalent of 3 weeks rain so far this month! No wonder everywhere is waterlogged!

Thankfully though we are not as badly affected as some ...... do hope there is no flooding where you are!
