The Mackay heat

So I have been in Mackay for a week and it is indeed tropical. It is HOT but it also feels as though you are inhaling water all the time such is the humidity. My flat is roasting despite fans and windows all being open. Thankfully there is airconditioning in the bedroom but it doesn't help with the rest of the house! I am on call this weekend. So far so good. But I may have spoken too soon!
