Bowling shield presentation

Today the bowling group had the end of season meal at a local pub.   We had a lovely meal in very good company.  It's not a serious club, just a bit of fun on the bowling green in the town park so none of us are experts.

In September F and I won the shield, a great surprise to me and probably to everyone else too!  We had our presentation by a young man from the insurance company that donated it. The local newspaper sent a photographer to record the event. He had a backpack and I expected a big camera to emerge but he took the photos with his phone!
