Dorset Apple Cake

A friend from Tornado days visited today and was honoured with a homemade ham and celeriac soup and this delicious cake.  I had some cream with my portion . . .  I've had a telling off from the chef: the currants should not be that orange in colour.

I tried Affinity Photo on my iPad to process this image; I was practising only with the watermark, but the programme works quite well.  Now to learn the million other functions and actions on the application.
