A Rose ...

by any other name would smell as sweet.  But if your call a cabbage an ornamental cabbage, does it still smell like a brassica?

Google, consulted, suggests that after a few days, it does. I won't know, because I didn't actually buy this bouquet, but left it for someone else. The gerberas were nice, a splash of colour in a dullish sort of day. A few flakes of snow fell this morning, but it soon turned to rain, and then dried up in the afternoon. 

TM shifted twenty bags of leaves from the front and side lawns.  Lots of lovely leaf mould to come. I sewed - at the binding stage on the boring brown and cream quilt, I'll be glad to see it finished and on the spare bed in time for the Ch******* visitors.
