A last look at the River Cam before departing on my journey home.
I've a great time with truly great friends - roll on next year.
The journey home was rather long - the A1 was closed at Newark because of flooding. This necessitated a long detour - accompanied by hundreds of HGVs (you never actually realise just how many there are until you see them nose to tail).
However, got home eventually and then left for Congleton to babysit Alice.
I needed my glass of 'restorative' :-)
