Checking out the water level

I stayed at home as I was in the middle of a job.

A dry morning, so we got the last of the pruning done and most of the cuttings into the green bin before it was emptied. The lorry was early as many roads round here are affected by excess water, also there were few bins out for emptying in this area.

I spent the afternoon on another article and emails. A phone call later wrapped up a number of jobs. We should have attended a public lecture at Lincoln Uni this evening, but it has been cancelled as the speaker was unable to get to Lincoln due to floods. It will be rescheduled at some point in time.
