Falling for autumn, again and again
Don't believe a word of my recent moaning about the poxiness of the weather. I'm just a bit of a drama queen. I actually love autumfall.
I love the light (when there is some that is...) I love the early nights. I love how tired I get from 9.30pm and how much deeper my sleep is. I love my cravings for solid autumnal food. And how easily I give in to them.
Even the rain. It's no pissy half-hearted drizzle. We are talking serious downpours here. Epic rainfall.
On several occasions in the last week, as I was donning my cycling wet gear that would prove useless in less than 3 minutes, I sniggered at people who pay eye-watering sums of money for sky-diving, bungee jumping, white-water rafting or other adrenaline-pumping high risk activities.
I cycle in Dublin city centre in November. For free!
