AB699 Getting ready for the day

Today was our annual " Get To The Point"  day. It about takes the whole community to run it
The main part of the village is closed off with all through traffic having to detour around it.  There is sheep Shearing, Dancing, Dog Trials, Helicopter rides, Train rides and masses of stalls
I was helping at the Railway and was down at the big shed for almost 7 hours so am rather tired tonight
People that come down on the train can see old time movies, see the wmazing model train that takes up a whole room. They can also play on the slides swings etc
I was manning the merchandise shop selling calenders, post cards, fridge magnets soft drinks and the like and did very well.
When I got down there this morning it was a hive of activity with everything being thoroughly checked like brakes etc
My blip is the wood being loaded on to the train for the engine. Everyman has a set job and they work so hard.
