Day 29 - Fish and Chips

A complete change of pace and weather. After around 30 degrees in Sydney yesterday we arrived in Tasmania to find a somewhat cooler 10 degrees. We also experienced our first rain for a month. After a hectic four weeks I think we will have a quieter time here.

We drove down to our first destination at Port Arthur and on the way stopped at a fish and chip shop at Dunalley that had been recommended by the gentleman at the airport car hire. The cafe is attached to a fish market and I don't think I have ever had fresher fish and chips. The blip shows the kitchen area with a fine view out of the window.
