Blistering damsel

It reached 42C today. It was crisp, like burnt to a crisp. Fortunately a cool change came through in the afternoon and temperatures are much more bearable now. I noticed quite a few birds around today in severe stress with the heat. I hope they are feeling better now. Just a shot from the garden this evening as it was too hot to do anything else.
