Witch Hazel

It's a beautiful day and my Witch Hazel is flowering for the first time! Little things like that may me feel quite joyful.
I planted the Witch Hazel 3 years ago, and although it has been very healthy, it has decided not to flower until now. Maybe it needed time to settle in? I normally go to the Botanic Gardens at this time of year to look at the Witch Hazel grove, Lauriston Castle also has lovely Witch Hazels in its Japanese Garden. Have a good day.
