Sibelius' Birthplace

As I sat at the window table of the restaurant, eating my lunch, I noticed that the snow (which has now all gone for the moment) had made a pretty scene outside. In this house the composer Jean Sibelius was born in 1865. He lived the earlier part of his long and fruitful life here in Hameenlinna.
