Remembrance

Many years ago
young men left their home, village,
or town and country
 
they went to fight a great war,
never came home, lost,
buried where they fell
 
at sunset, sunrise
we will remember them,
on this day, forever
 
For they didn't age
they stayed young, and died alone
in cold, dark places


They did it for our tomorrows,
We must never forget!
