surprised me by coming to visit during our break time today!  So lovely to see him.  We have been friends since he was a student when I worked in Zomba so I have probably known him and his wife and family for over 20 years!  As you can see, a very cheerful person and it was lovely to have a brief time with him!

Teaching went well today - we had lots of good discussion and reminders about early childhood and how children develop.  It is great to see that teachers are still doing what they are supposed to, mind you there are many challenges both in the school and in their personal lives, but I am thankful to see all the teachers I left in 2015 still there except two (one got another job and the others husband was transferred to the South of Malawi)!

In the evening I had more visits from old friends!  I have to say I am tired...
