Golden day

Took 3 boxes of books down to Biddulph Grange for them to sell in their 2nd hand bookshop. Unfortunately the stunning morning had disolved into a cloudier afternoon by the time I finished work.
The gardens were seething with people so I did a short circuit to get some fresh air and a few shots. Even managed one of the yew walk with nobody in it (about a two second people-free slot!) - in extras.
Decidedly pooped this eve but have managed to do some essential housework and bake a cake :)
