ER

After a morning trip to the ER my mom was able to climb the steps into my  house and enjoy breakfast. The emergency? She was found on the floor at Silverado after apparently falling out of bed and was complaining of pain in the head, neck, shoulder, and hip. They didn't feel comfortable moving her, so paramedics got called in. Several xrays and a CT scan later, she was released with a quick "she seems fine." Yep. 

Easy to say "no hospitalization" in theory, but if you want to know the  cause of pain--even if you don't plan to intervene in a big way--it's hard to avoid.
