The promised bright day was there from the start a very thin ice layer on the rainwater in the wheelbarrow.
Blue skies with sunshine allowed a pleasant aspect to painting gravel boards for the rose garden dark grey.
Watching paint dry on the planks propped against the garage as the next was done.
