Keeping a watchful eye!

A bitterly cold day with a heavy frost this morning. 
A trip to Edinburgh to have lunch with Catriona and Tim was on the cards for today. Good to see them both and see the photos of their recent holiday in Korea and Japan ..... a very adventurous pair.

We had a brief visit to the zoo where we left the car .... parking in Edinburgh is a nightmare so we took the No 31 bus from outside the zoo to a couple of hundred yards from the flat .... ideal.

I don't know if the pelicans ever go in the water but every time we visit the enclosure they are gathered by the trees watching us very carefully!
