Plastic poppies

The Brownies and Guides at church have been involved in making lots of poppies to go up the from of the church and up some of the trees.  They looked very effective this morning.  I assume they will be recycled shortly...

I can't remember if I mentioned that our last attempted booking for a weekend away for Dad's birthday failed.  They wanted us to stay a whole week.  So it's been back to the drawing board on that one but we found another property today which is  happy to have us for three nights.  Appallingly expensive but it looks beautiful and has a tremendous view up the Dart from Dartmouth and out to sea.  Dad is very pleased and keeps asking me lots of questions about it.  All we have to do is wait until August. Could be a good opportunity to do something with Mom's ashes too.

Busy day tomorrow and then a pretty busy week - 2 dementia presentations this week, including a big one on Saturday.
