Noisy in Flight

I needed to get out a bit today, after having spent most of the last couple of days home with my husband who is under the weather.  He's not seriously sick.  He happens to have caught the virus our grandson brought home from daycare.  It has affected him more than the young one, of course.  Anyway, I walked around the lake which was unusually quiet today.  I saw Ring- Necked Ducks and Pied-billed Grebes, as well as this Mallard, but they were too far away.  I couldn't miss the quacking as he took off.
