Woods

It seems like ages since a relatively nice day coincided with when I had the kids, so it was good to have a day out together.

We headed over to Skipton where we walked up the canal into the woods before returning to town for crêpes, including vegan ones for me, which were then burned off in the park before catching the train home. 

There was still plenty of colour in the woods, probably past their peak but with plenty of still water for reflections the effect was amplified. 

I'm a couple of days late with 12yo's birthday portrait, but the setting and the afternoon sun made for a good one.
