Day 12 .... Surprise

Well this is definitely a difficult brief to photograph so thinking outside the box somewhat I decided to Surprise Myself by.....
a. Making some homemade spicy potatoe and parsnip soup
b. Making the effort to photograph the outcome for my assignment.

I have lost a little direction with this final year project. Not having ventured into this genre before I was hoping for a little input from my tutors - none so far has been forthcoming although we were promised visiting lecturers to assist in different areas of photography. All the studio sessions have been about portraiture (yet again for the third year running). which is of no help to me. This is supposed to be complete by March & I havn't really started yet.

I have written to two fairly local 'food photographers' in the hope of visiting to get some inside info and vision but have not had a response yet...
Any ideas would be gratefully accepted - there is only so much you can glean from a book / website...
