Waterlogged!

As it was nice and sunny, we had a drive to Cuckmere Haven for a walk along the river down to the beach  - however the river had burst its banks due to the amount of rain we've had, and it looked more like a lake!  It was great for reflections though and the birdlife seemed to be enjoying it.

When we got down to the beach, the river was flowing rather rapidly into the sea, and I've since been told that yesterday they were clearing shingle to help the water flow away - it seemed to be doing the trick.

We've just chilled at home this afternoon and I've cooked the Sunday roast as usual.  Hope you've had a good one!
