Remembrance
“Time, like an ever rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away;
They fly, forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the opening day”
Running at dawn this morning I was surprised to see much of the beach at Joppa had been washed away by the recent storms. It takes far more than storms to eradicate the sacrifice of all those whose lives have been curtailed by conflict.
