2019 Friday — San Luis Obispo
We loaded the 3 pups in the car and drove the 20 minutes east and inland into the city of San Luis Obispo. We knew that we could leave the car in the cool shade of the parking structure on Marsh Street by the Post Office and that the pups would be quite content.
So we walked to a lunch place and then walked to the Apple Computer store, just to lookey-lou. Then we headed back to the car.
We drove a couple blocks to Emerson Park (which is where I captured this photo, but I didn’t get the name of the church—that was brilliant of me). I mentioned to Mr. Fun that I wondered if we were looking at the original chapel of the church and the the structure attached to it had been added on later. Curiosity killed the cat!
We did not find an adequate place to park, so we did not get the pups out for a walk at Emerson Park. We made a quick stop at two of my favorite thrift stores — the Women’s Assistance League and at Fred & Betty’s.
Then we drove to the Best Buy store because Mr.Fun wanted to look for a lockbox. But they did not have what he wanted. So we were off and going again.
We took the back way home which leads to the coast and to the community of Los Osos, and so we stopped at the public library there just to look at their selection of books and magazines in the Friends of the Library store.
And finally we were back at our little place.
