The view from here

I didn't venture very far today...just a stroll around the garden, camera in hand. This view of the Karri forest was taken from the back decking. In the late afternoon the low light illuminates the pale trunks of the Karri forest and it is one of my favourite times to take in the view. Today was a perfect mild summers day with the maximum temperate a moderate 26ºC. It has been lovely to have a respite from the hot weather of recent days.

My previous blip rainy day in Margaret River shows a similar view but on a rainy day. I never tire of looking into the forest and the garden surrounding the house. I love it here, but Perth also has plenty to offer and I love my time there as well.
