Day 31 - Echidna
Or to be more precise a short-beaked echidna. Apparently these are the most widespread native Australian mammal (at least according to the website I looked at). We have seen two or three of these but this one we spotted in the late afternoon was the best view we have had so far.
The extra is a little wattlebird. It was just a silhouette when I took the picture, and it was really for ID purposes, but when I checked I noticed the insect.
