Insatiable

In it comes.
No celebrator of special occasions.
No respecter of what’s gone before.
 
It’s hungry.
 
It wants something new.
And it wants it now.
 
‘Something new!’ it demands.
 
And if we don’t respond
‘Something NEW!’ it screeches, growls, grumbles.
 
‘SOMETHING NEW!’
 
Ok, ok we say.
And we get on with what we have to do.

 
But, speaking of special occasions, thanks for the generous response
to my 100th blip. I started off answering the comments but they
just kept coming. Thanks again for such positive feedback. But
