Shabby Chic?

Not sure if that is the right description for this lovely old chest which graced the hallway of the venue for our anniversary Afternoon Tea, but it was certainly interesting.

A very enjoyable tea, even if the choice of sandwiches (3 each) was salmon, salmon and salmon!  Fortunately we both like salmon:-)  Nice savouries and too many cakes, so we brought some home in a box for later.  Dreadful weather for the drive home, but at least nowhere was flooded.

Thank you so much to everyone who gave stars and hearts to yesterday's entry, though I'm sure it was a measure of support for our celebration rather than my less than wonderful photo:-)    Much appreciated.
