Armistice Day

Hmmm.... not sure about the illuminated poppy at the war memorial in the next village - doesn’t seem right somehow.

Babysitting duties today.. away from home at 7 a.m. - it was so busy on the A1 I didn’t arrive until 8 and son-in-law was waiting at the door to go to work!  I couldn’t photograph this until I got back home and it was almost dark (as seen by the shadows cast by the street lamp) so the ISO has gone OTT, however Lightroom rescued it by reducing the noise and recovering shadows.

Mrs madwill away for a couple of nights - TV shows on Tuesday and then she is off to see her mother on Wednesday. Unhealthy teas and probably unhealthy amounts of beer are on the menu for me!
