Pawly dog

Well readers, since my last blip, things haven’t progressed in the right direction. I was discharged from the care of the V-E-T 6 days ago, but have now been back twice. You see I’ve managed to burst the stitches in my wound so that it is now an open, weeping pad.

I know that it will heal fine if I keep my weight off it but that is more difficult than one might think. I just can’t stop myself jumping about on it.

The V-E-T said today that a worst case scenario would be to remove my whole toe! I don’t want that to happen.

As you can see, they have now stuck on a huge bandage to make me look even sillier than I already felt.
