A Busy Kate

It's pouring down cats and dogs. Kate and I have spent a lovely afternoon inside in the warm, painting the flowers that I bought this morning. She will use her lovely studies for a fabric design to add to her portfolio for impending interviews and freelance work. I know I am biased but I love her designs- they are so fresh and lively.
Chris has spent the morning helping in the allotment shop. It's a great big wooden hut with no heating, run by a few cheerful and friendly volunteers- it is full of all you need plus good advice and a lot cheaper than a certain huge shop nearby!
