Castle on a Hill

Took the Team to Badajoz this afternoon, passing Alconchel and its impressive Miraflores castle on the way. Like neighbouring Olivenza, this town was Portuguese before it was Spanish, and originally Moorish. The only thing the young folk wanted to see was the large shopping centre, El Faro. Go figure.

Gratefuls:
- getting some paperwork done and delivered/posted
- finding a bulb for the fridge in El Faro, it's been in darkness for ages
- clear sky with a bright shining moon, after a cloudy day (though not a drop of rain)
