Fairy Iris

It's been another desperate day for many affected by the bush fires in New South Wales and also here in Queensland. Dark times.

Here's a Fairy Iris  (Dietes grandiflora) to cheer the mood, blooming in Maleny today where I attended my youngest grandson's kindergarden picnic.
