Channelled my inner Sagan today teaching about the phases of the moon, as well as the orbital paths of the Earth about the sun and the moon about the Earth. I also explained how the Earth's axial tilt is responsible for the seasonal opposition between the hemispheres. Oh yes, I was very much in my element, and the kids love it, too. Don't they, Carl?
