Flightless Birds
Sadly it is time to come home again after our week skiing in Austria. Although the snow was good on the mountain, it had been warm in the valley and a lot of it had melted. However, it had started snowing again as we left so good news for the resort and the forthcoming World Cup in Schladming.
We had a good drive back to Munich and deliberately took a cross country route to get away from the motorway, but also to stop off and blip this bi-plane that we had seen on the way south. It was just sitting in a farmyard by the road, surrounded by these beautiful chickens! Sadly, all now unable to fly.
I have backblipped Tuesday, our sleigh ride on Wednesday, and the wood on the barn we rented yesterday if you are interested in taking a peek :-)
I look forward to catching up on your journals in the next few days. For now, we're off to a ceilidh this evening (Friday) to celebrate the marriage of our Associate Rector, Vanessa. Bring on the dancing shoes! I'll hopefully have something to blip later. Have a great evening and weekend one and all!
