Pre- Birthday

Some of Tom’s friends at uni are very wealthy and he’s had to find a way of letting them know he can’t always join in with things they are doing. Last year he went to the 21st birthday of one whose parents had given a budget of £10k for the party.

Well Tom’s 21st is looming and he wanted to do something special. I gave him £150 as I did for this brother a couple of years ago. He decided to use it to cook a meal for 28 of his friends, including his older brother who endured a 12 hour coach ride from Swansea! This is a picture he sent me just before he served canapés followed by beouf bourgingon plus vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free alternatives. I’m very proud of him, not only for taking on such a daunting task, but also because he wanted to use his present to do something nice for his friends.

Beewriter and I are going up to visit in just over a week so no doubt we’ll spoil him a bit then too!
