Oh Dubai, you were everything I hoped for.

My mum and my sister Kiera flew out to Dubai to visit me yesterday. And today was my day that I would spend with them. I'll let you in on a little secret, I have missed them very much!
They met me in the hotel reception in the early hours of the morning. With bags under their eyes of course, the time difference and the lack of sleep affected us all. So a nap was in order, so we went to their hotel and had a 2 hour snooze. Their hotel was more in the heart of Dubai.
After we awoke, we took a trip to Dubai mall and had drooled over some of the things we saw. Dubai mall just kept on giving. Pieces of artwork everywhere, optical illusions and just a lovely saunter round. We got something to eat and off we went.
Next stop was the Burj khalifa! The tallest building in the world! (I think) Just in front of the Burj khalifa was the most amazing fountain show. I think it was every 15 minutes! There were huge illumination s on the Burj khalifa aswell! But I could have stayed there for hours on end. it even had these electronic flowers which gave everything a lovely eleganh feel. Luckily we came across a really nice restaurant that overlooked everything. Which meant I could eat my Katsu Curry while being entertained with this jovial celebration which the people of Dubai get everyday!
