Disaster day and relief

The weather was as predicted - hot, dry and blowing a hoolie.  I had plans for the moonrise over the Opera House which were foiled but the thick smoke.  Some more properties were lost to fires but no lives.  There was even fires around Sydney which were contained.  It was thought they may have been started by kids.  Crikey, we were talking about appropriate punishment and I thought putting all their games, phones, bikes etc in a big pile and setting fire to it would be appropriate.   Those fire fighters are doing the most amazing job, stories of their bravery keep coming in.  The cool change eventually arrived at about 8 pm - relief.
