Sorry about the weekend-mag-style jokey title, but I've been researching lots of music-learning websites, blogs and apps. Result: digitally-aided music-learning is a lot more common than I thought.

Two gadgets I now can't do without: my iPhone working as a metronome, and my iPad tracking the amount of time I spend practising, and what speed I reach by the end of a session.

My prize for piano teaching with digital bells and whistles goes to this Californian teacher, whose blog I follow avidly.
